ednesday night Bible Study resumes . 7 PM. History Channel Bible Lessons continue each week. We are exploring both the OT and NT as it tells the story of Jesus. From Religion to Relationship with Jesus. It also shows relationships between the OT and NT. Coming in Jan Worship. Why and how God wants us to worship. Classes start Wednesday Jan 8th. Please join this great group of disciples desiring to learn more about Jesus.
hat Is Advent anyway? Good Question.
Advent is a season of preparation for the coming of Christ: preparation to celebrate Jesus’ birth at Christmas, to receive faithfully the risen Christ who comes to us in Word and Spirit, and to await with hope Christ’s coming in final victory. The word Advent means “coming.” Our greatest challenge friends is to make Advent a time of expectation for Christ’s coming to be with us, you and me, NOT a frantic time of meeting secular demands and expectations of the season. Shalom to each of you this Advent season.

aving a meeting, practice or gathering at church? Please consider these ideas: Did you think to pray to open and close? Did you lead a short devotional from the Upper Room monthly devotional sharing the Word of God? Were you sensitive to new folks or old friends and their need for Spiritual Healing? Many in our church are suffering. All these things should come before a meeting, practice or gathering gets underway. It is all about a Relationship with Jesus and not Religion.
hristmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service on December 24th at 5 PM. Nursery service provided. Make plans now to join us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Carols, Candles and Holy Communion.

The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who lived in a land of deep darkness–
on them light has shined.
